The idea of a wireless pet containment system is a great one so your dog does not end up roaming around and stays in the backyard. My only worry about this is how much it could possibly scare a dog, and I wouldn’t want my dog to be terrified due to this.

No, your dog will not be afraid at all. Believe me. My mini schnauzer has stopped wandering away from the yard ever since I had the LeStong Invisible Dog Fence set up. It keeps her in the yard and she is not bothered by it at all.

My neighbor has a Jack Russel Terrier that has had behavioral issues, and she got the LeStong Invisible Dog Fence to help with that. I have to say it must work well because I rarely hear that dog yap like he did beforehand.

My property is quite large and I do worry about my dog somehow getting lost. She is usually quite good and obedient but if she sees a squirrel then off she goes. From the looks of it, the PetSafe’s Wireless Fence Pet Containment System is likely my best bet.

Head over our Facebook page to see how 2 massive dogs are targeting a squirrel in a tree but they won’t cross an invisible line thanks to their collars. I’m telling you, such a containment system is a life saver. PetSafe is a highly regarded brand in this field, so go for it!

The Floyd Invisible Electric Fence looks like it is the best choice for us. We have a Poodle that is a puppy and he will get bigger quickly. He won’t be that big but this may be the best one.

My dog’s vet suggested that we use the LeStong Invisible Dog Fence as the dogs are not at all injured and it sends a message quite well. If the worst thing about it is having to shave a patch then it is not bad.

If your vet recommended it, that’s all fine. However, maybe ask them if the ProfessionPet one wouldn’t be better. I’ve personally found it to be much friendlier and it also just looks better! Thanks for stopping by!

The LeStong Invisible Dog Fence is the best one because it does not stun my dog in a cruel way, and it works very well in the rain as well. Having to shave a small area on the dog is not much of a con at all.

This is the first time I have ever heard of the wireless pet containment system. It is a great approach when it comes to keeping your dog in the yard, but how effective is this really? How old is this technology?

The technology is fairly old, but the new advancements make it much more humane. It’s effective, of course. Very effective if your yard is a big open space. Less effective if there are trees and other large objects on the perimeter. Still, there’s are a lot of great options that have no issues with these objects. Thanks for the visit, Grace!

The only wireless dog fence I am familiar with is the PetSafe one, and I don’t have any issues with it. However, now that you mentioned the blindspots problem, you are right. Otherwise, it keeps my dog in the yard where she belongs.

Blindspots shouldn’t be an issue if your dog is already trained to stay in your yard. Thanks for the visit, Nancy!

The TDC wireless electric pet dog fence containment system is good, but I do find that the battery needs to be recharged often. But my dog does not seem uncomfortable at all, and it delivers the message for him to stay in the yard quite well.

LeStong and TDC are very good wireless fence pet containment systems, because these ones seem to be easiest on the dog, and are highly effective. They will most definitely help you make sure that Fido stays put and does not wander anywhere.

The Floyd Invisible Electric Fence is a good wireless dog fence for so many reasons. It is very easy to install, and the shock is not frightening but it is strong enough to send them the message that they have to stay put. And, the fact that it is waterproof scores points.
